The Sanctuary is a church without walls. The Sanctuary currently has several missions on the local, national, and international levels that it supports.
Arkansas Valley Habitat for Humanity
The Sanctuary is a Covenant Church with Arkansas Valley Habitat for Humanity. This is Christian Mission that uses the donations from private individuals, companies, churches, foundations, and civic groups to construct solid, insulated, energy-efficient homes that are sold for the cost of construction. A small down payment is charged, and monthly house payments are based on a 20 year mortgage and include taxes and insurance. Mortgage payments go back into Habitat’s construction budget to build more homes for more qualified families. By being a Covenant Church we support this mission in prayer, with our finances, and by volunteering to work on the construction of the homes.
The Sanctuary recently hosted the First Annual Bible Trivia night as a fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity and Sheaves for Christ. This was a very successful event, and participants are looking forward to next year’s event. We consider it a privilege to be involved with this organization. We feel that this mission fulfills Matthew 25:45.
General Home Missions Division of the United Pentecostal Church
The General Home Missions Division has developed excellent ministerial programs to support evangelical efforts across the North American continent. Through workshops, conferences, and other training seminars, they have begun reaching urban populations and a wide range of groups within the United States and Canada. The Sanctuary currently supports this division by financially sponsoring monthly the Perry’s of New Haven, CT who are Metro Missionaries planting a new church.
Foreign Missions Division of the United Pentecostal Church
The objective of the United Pentecostal Church International (UPCI) in organizing the Foreign Missions Division is to proclaim the whole gospel to the whole world by sending forth God-called men and women in obedience to the great commission. “Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15). The Sanctuary currently partners with several couples in various nations of the world who are fullfilling the great commission in prayer and by monthly financial support.
